1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. The Omnis website and dashboard (aegisomnis.com) use exactly one cookie, described below — we don't run any analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking scripts.

This cookie is strictly necessary for the dashboard to function, which exempts it from consent requirements under the UK's Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the equivalent EU ePrivacy rules — since without it you simply couldn't stay logged in. Canadian federal privacy law (PIPEDA) doesn't have a separate cookie-consent regime, but the same logic applies under its general consent principles. We don't set it, or any cookie, until you choose to log in.
3. No Advertising or Tracking Cookies
We don't use Omnis to run advertising, retargeting, or behavioral-analytics cookies of any kind. We don't sell or share browsing data with ad networks.
4. Third-Party Cookies
Logging in with Discord happens on Discord's own domain before you're redirected back to us — Discord may set its own cookies during that process, governed by Discord's Privacy Policy, not this one. We don't embed any other third-party content (ads, trackers, or widgets) on aegisomnis.com that would set cookies on our pages.
5. Managing Cookies
Because our only cookie is required to keep you logged in, blocking it will simply prevent the dashboard from remembering your session — you can still browse the public pages (home, docs, this page) with cookies disabled. Most browsers let you clear cookies for a single site; clearing connect.sid will just log you out.
6. Changes to This Policy
If we ever add analytics or other cookies, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above first.
