End User License Agreement

1. Scope of This Agreement

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") governs the license Omnis ("we," "us") grants you to use the Omnis Discord bot and the aegisomnis.com dashboard (together, the "Software"). It works alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which cover your conduct and our data practices respectively — where those documents address a topic this EULA doesn't, they apply in full.

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with this EULA and our Terms of Service, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to: (a) add and interact with the Omnis bot in Discord servers you're authorized to manage, and (b) access and use the web dashboard to configure servers where you hold the necessary Discord permissions. This license is for your own use of the hosted Service — it is not a license to source code, and it does not transfer any ownership rights to you.

3. Restrictions

You may not, and may not permit anyone else to:

• Copy, modify, decompile, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the Software, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction;
• Rent, lease, sell, sublicense, resell access to, or otherwise commercially exploit the Software as your own offering;
• Remove or obscure any Omnis branding, attribution, or proprietary notices from the Software;
• Use the Software to build a directly competing bot or service using our source code, branding, or content;
• Circumvent any access, rate-limiting, or feature-gating mechanism (including free-tier/Premium limits) built into the Software.

4. Ownership

The Software, including its source code, design, and the Omnis name and logo, is and remains the property of the Omnis team. No public open-source license is granted for this codebase unless we state otherwise in writing. This EULA gives you a license to use the Software as a hosted service — nothing more.

5. User Content

Configuration data, messages, and other content you or your server members submit through the Software (custom commands, tickets, profiles, economy data, and similar) remain yours. By submitting it, you grant us a license to store, process, and display it back to you as necessary to operate the Software, as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Updates to the Service

Because Omnis is a hosted service rather than installed software, we may update, patch, or change the Software at any time without separate notice, and your license automatically extends to the updated version. We aren't obligated to maintain backward compatibility for every command or feature indefinitely.

7. No Warranty

The Software is licensed "as is," without warranty of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that the Software will be error-free, secure, or available without interruption.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from this EULA or your use of the Software is limited as described in our Terms of Service.

9. Termination of License

This license terminates automatically if you violate this EULA or our Terms of Service. We may also revoke it at our discretion, including by removing the bot from your server or suspending your dashboard access. Upon termination, your right to use the Software ends immediately, though sections concerning ownership, disclaimers, and liability survive.

10. Relationship to Other Policies

This EULA, our Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy together form the full agreement between you and Omnis regarding the Software. If any conflict arises between this EULA and the Terms of Service on licensing-specific matters, this EULA controls; on all other matters, the Terms of Service control. This EULA is governed by the same law as our Terms of Service (the Province of New Brunswick, Canada), subject to the same carve-out for mandatory local consumer-protection rights.
